Steve Story has been playing the violin since age 6. He grew up playing in dance bands in his local town of Shawnee , Ok. After graduating high school he attended the University of Central Oklahoma and obtained a Masters Degree in Music from Wichita State University. He has performed with numerous orchestras around the country and has toured through out the U.S. Europe and Canada from 1987-2000. Steve has been playing jazz on the violin for the last 30 years performing with his own group, The Steve Story Jazz Quartet.
